Zhoushan Yatai Shipbuilding Engineering Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Zhejiang Longwen Shipbuilding Engineering Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as Zhoushan Yatai) was established in June 2007, with a total investment of approximately 2.6 billion RMB. The shipyard covers an area of about 370,000 square meters, with a building area of about 72,000 square meters, possessing nearly 70 hectares of sea area, a coastline of 2002 meters, and a total dock length of 1550 meters. It currently has more than 600 employees and over 2000 internal cooperative employees. The company is located in the shipping center of East China, at longitude 122°09′30″ and latitude 29°48′18″, close to major port clusters such as Shanghai, Ningbo, and Zhoushan, adjacent to the Xiashi Gate and Broom Gate channels.Internationalwaterways, with superior deep-water coastline and hinterland resources. The berthing and docking of ships are not restricted by time and tides, and it has complete ship repair facilities and supporting equipment. It mainly engages in various types of ship repairs, modifications, and maintenance of offshore engineering platforms, with an annual capacity to repair over 300 ships.

Zhoushan Yatai has hardware scale with two docks and six berths, including one large dry dock for 300,000 tons and one for 150,000 tons, measuring 360 meters × 76 meters × 14.5 meters and 300 meters × 46 meters × 13.5 meters respectively; one berth for 300,000 tons, three berths for 80,000 tons, one berth for 50,000 tons, and one berth for 40,000 tons, with an average draft exceeding 12 meters. The company was listed as a major construction project for the development of the marine economy in Zhejiang in 2012 and was recognized as a green ship repair enterprise in Zhoushan in 2020.
